Hibernate Bedding Delivery & Shipping Services and Policies

Hibernate Bedding uses USPS to delivery all soft good products to anywhere in the US.  Please allow 48 hours for orders to be processed excluding weekends and holiday.  If we don't have a product in stock, you will be notified by email and we will ship it as soon as we have it.  Usually you should get it in 5-10 days.  Shipping (non-delivery items) is $35.

Hibernate Bedding delivers all mattress sets nationwide above $1500 free of charge.  Hibernate bedding delivers all mattress sets above $600 to NJ, parts of NY, CT, and PA free of charge.  Mattress sets under $1500 shipped outside these areas are subject to a shipping fee.  

After purchase, a Hibernate Bedding representative will call you to discuss delivery further.  Please note that because most of our beds are made to order direct from the factory (we hold limited inventory to ensure our clients receive brand new, freshly made beds) - deliveries may vary from a few days to a couple weeks depending on the product.

Delivery and removal of your old mattress is FREE with a purchase of $600 or more.

Delivery service is routed from our central warehouse facility. Basically it’s an all day appointment! Trucks are routed, loaded and planned by zip code to make for a more efficient delivery experience for everyone. Please note: A responsible adult 18 years or older must be present during delivery.

Our Sales Professionals can not promise any specific time frame for your delivery to be made, but we will do our best to try and accommodate your schedule whenever possible. The evening before your scheduled delivery date, you will receive a call from the store you made your purchase from. They will give you an approximate 4-hour window for your delivery. If you have not received a call by 5:00 p.m., the evening before your promised delivery, you must contact the store you made your purchase from to confirm delivery.

If you have another appointment, please delegate delivery acceptance to an adult friend or relative.

Please have the area where your new sleep set is going to be set-up cleared and ready for your delivery. Our Delivery Teams can not remove their shoes, but will act safely with due care to protect your home.

Delivery, Set-up & Removal Procedures and Fees:                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 

Delivery within our normal delivery area & set up include:           

Delivery of merchandise to desired room.

Set-up of mattress & box spring/foundation on existing frame.

Set-up of mattress & box spring/foundation on frame purchased from Hibernate Bedding.                                                                                  

Delivery charge if merchandise is less than $600.00: $60.00                                            

Charge for set-up: This fee applies to all non-mattress set purchace:  $35.00                               T

his  fee will be charged for all set-ups of  futon frames, lofabeds, bunk beds, head boards, complete beds

(headboard, footboard and rails) and any other accessories that require assembly by the delivery service.

Re-delivery charge: If no one is available to accept delivery:  $50.00 Transportation/Handling Fee: 

The Manufacturers’ Warranty covers the merchandise only, and does not include transportation, handling and removal costs. The fee for each warranty exchange to cover the cost of transportation, handling and removal:  $100.00                                                                                                       

One-time Comfort Guarantee:  There is a handling fee associated with all comfort exchange under the Comfort Guarantee, which includes transportation and disposal costs. The fee is $150.00.

To qualify for a comfort guarantee you must sleep on your new premium mattress set for a minimum of thirty (30) days. This will give you and the mattress a chance to adjust to each other. If after thirty (30) days, you are still not comfortable with your mattress, please call the showroom of purchase. We will offer you a store credit for the original set purchased, less a handling fee depending on size.  The handling fee includes transportation and disposal costs.  The fees are as listed above. You have up to sixty (60) days after delivery to request a satisfaction guarantee. The store credit may be used to select any other mattress set of equal or greater value.  The comfort guarantee is not allowed on your new reselection. You are entitled to Hibernate Bedding’s everyday low price or any current advertised price. Hibernate Bedding employees are not permitted to discount the price below our everyday low price or any current advertised price. You must pay the difference between the credit issued and the price of your new selection.  If you select a mattress set of lesser value than your original purchase, there will be no refund for the difference, and you cannot use the difference to purchase other merchandise. Merchandise being exchanged must be free of stains, abuse and/or damage. There is no satisfaction guarantee on your new selection.  Comfort Exchange does not apply to OMI mattress sets, SavvyRest mattress sets, Floor Samples, Model Closeouts, Final Sales.  Adjustable bases, pillows, sheets, mattress protectors and all other accessories are non-returnable and non-refundable. 

Removal includes: Removal of old mattress & box spring/foundation (equal to size purchased) from the delivery address.                                                                                 

Please note that for health and safety reasons:  No bedding will be picked up which is in unsanitary condition or if metal or wood is protruding out of mattress or box spring/foundation. Unsanitary bedding and protruding objects may cause injury to delivery personnel, and/or pose damage to or contamination of new merchandise.                                                                                                      

Removal does not include:  Removal of metal frames, exposed steel box spring/foundations, or old headboards/footboards, platform beds and flotation/waterbeds.

Customer Responsibility:   You will receive a call the evening prior to your delivery to advise you of your 4-hour time window. If you have not received a call by 5:00 p.m., the evening before your promised delivery, you must contact the store you made your purchase from to confirm delivery. Please note that our trucks are on the road between 7 AM and 9 PM so your delivery could be anywhere within that time frame. Keep in mind that the delivery time is only an approximation, as weather and traffic conditions, and length of time spent at previous stops can affect your delivery time window. A responsible adult 18 years or older must be present during delivery. The customer must disassemble their existing bed(s) and the area where the merchandise is to be installed must be clear prior to the delivery. Should the customer’s obligation not be fulfilled, only delivery and removal will be performed, no set-up will be done. Please make sure you fully inspect your purchase prior to signing the delivery receipt form. Your signature denotes full acceptance of the merchandise, it’s conformance to your order, and that the product is free from exterior defect or damage.                                                                                                                                                                                        Additional Services:  For $25.00 the delivery service will disassemble your existing bed and move it to a different room in your home. For an additional $25.00 the delivery service will reassemble the bed they have moved within your home. The delivery service will not move furniture in your home i.e.; dressers, couches, tables chairs, etc… This service is for moving your existing bedding within your home to make room for your new bedding.                                                            

Split Box Springs/Foundations: In some instances a regular one-piece box spring/foundation may not fit in the home. This may require a split box spring/foundation order. This will increase the cost of your purchase by $120.00. If you need split box springs/foundations, please call the store you purchased your mattress set from to make arrangements for delivery and payment. The additional $120.00 includes the transportation and set up in your home.  Think about whether you need this before delivery.

Bed too high: If you accept delivery of your new mattress set and you realize that it’s too high, we will exchange the box spring /foundation for a low profile box spring/foundation or a low profile frame. This will lower the set by 3 to 5 inches depending on the model. There will be a $100.00 fee for this service. The $100.00 includes transportation, handling and set-up in your home. Think about whether you need this before delivery.
